About the role
As a Software Developer, you will work closely with business stakeholders to help translate both business and technical requirements into a defined scope. The role is responsible for providing software design, testing, maintenance and technical expertise to ensure we deliver software releases and production support across our Citizen Services contract.
You are someone who thrives in a dynamic organisational environment and express enthusiasm for addressing unexpected new challenges on short notice. Therefore, being a good communicator and has a pragmatic approach to delivering solutions that optimize each opportunity across the company needs, business constraints and technological realities. Having the ability to grasp concepts and solve problems quickly and efficiently will allow you to convert ideas into solutions designs.
Degree qualified in Computer Science or related discipline - essential
Microsoft desktop and Web Development – preferred
C#.Net / .Net Core
Strong sequel skills: Oracle / SQL Server
Extensive knowledge and experience working in an analysis, design and development in a software environment
Experience in mid-size software development projects
Experience in development methodologies: Waterfall and Agile
Must be self-motivating with a desire to learn and grow
