Arrow Energy is an integrated coal seam gas (CSG) company that explores and develops gas fields, produces and sells CSG and generates electricity.
Arrow produces CSG from fields in the Surat Basin in southern Queensland and the Bowen Basin in central Queensland. We have been safely and sustainably developing CSG since 2000 and supplying it commercially since 2004.
We own one of Queensland's largest power stations, Braemar 2 near Dalby, and we have interests in two others, giving us enough generation capacity to power around 800,000 homes. Arrow is owned by a joint venture company between Shell and PetroChina.

Reporting to the Maintenance Improvement Lead, you will Interface with internal departments for inclusion into the Maintenance and Reliability systems and processes, ensuring long term requirements of the business are identified and included within the projects being developed.
In addition you will:
Ensure personal safety at work by adopting standard safe work practices and procedures in accordance with Arrow’s safety policies;
Develop, recommend and implement equipment maintenance strategies for improving equipment reliability and availability;
Be focal point for the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Arrow Energy Preventive Maintenance Library;
Be focal Point for the Arrow Energy Maintenance Program Manual;
Monitor, analyse and report on critical equipment availability and reliability. Identify root cause for downtime and develop strategies to improve;
Be custodian for the Defect Elimination Process, identification of bad actors and support site teams with completion of Root Cause Analysis. Facilitate Apollo Root Cause Analysis workshops as required;
Be focal Point for the Arrow Energy Defect Elimination Manual;
Leverage SAP-PM for the provision of data to identify bad actors and improvement opportunities;
Custodian of the Arrow Energy Lubrication Schedule;
Implement and sustain a lubrication management program addressing lubricant selection, standardisation, storage, dispensing, sampling, and analysis
Provide assistance to maintenance teams in areas such as critical spares, PM Optimisation, condition monitoring, etc.
To be successful in the role, you will:
Have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering – mechanical or related discipline.
Post graduate studies in Maintenance or Reliability Engineering is desirable.
Have proven success working as an Engineer within the resources sector, preferably the Coal Seam Gas (Upstream) industry.
Exposure to computerised maintenance management systems (SAP) is preferred.
Demonstrable project Management and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements.
Have competent understanding in Failure and Root Cause Analysis.
Have excellent understanding of mechanical design principles.
