We're looking for passionate Software Engineers with Hogan Banking experience
Multiple locations: - Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne
The role of the Hogan Senior Software Engineer is to contribute to the delivery of Suncorp Group, Banking & Wealth strategy, contributing to a program of work focused on Operational Banking Systems across Deposits and Direct Entry Payment systems. You will be working in cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle, providing systems analysis, design, development, maintenance & ongoing support for Banking & Wealth applications.
Design and build integration solutions for specific business problems or project requirements.
Act in the role of Subject Matter Expert, Analyst or Developer as required
Design the component of a solution covering a technical or application domain as a member of a team of developers for a project involving multiple domains
Provide input to or develop business systems solutions, estimates and specifications
Assist with investigations into potential solutions, liaise with relevant technical experts and contribute to solution design and costing
Provide timely and effective advice on progress and ability to meet service and solution deliverables within agreed expectations
Produce thorough and effective unit and system test plans and participate and/or support further testing phases
Conform to security quality assurance standards and agreed processes within the department
Work collaboratively maintaining ongoing dialogue and relationships with Stakeholders as part of continued solution development and support.
Skills & Experience
At least five (5) years appropriate industry experience
Broad and proven experience working on the Hogan Banking platform, with experience including:
Hogan Deposits, Hogan FSS & Direct Entry payments
Mainframe z/OS COBOL, VSAM, DB2, JCL, TSO/MVS, CICS
Experience in other Hogan applications is beneficial
Experience developing or supporting high availability production systems.
Experience in IT in a large organisation within the Financial Services industry.
Understanding of the role that automation plays in Agile delivery
Understanding of how to test in an Agile environment
Interest in creating and maintaining test automation frameworks for Integration (end-to-end) testing, API/Contract testing, performance testing, security testing
