About the Team:
As part of FIS Credit Card Solutions, this team works on the Base Global Product. Driven by customer requirements, get involved with support and incident management of the product.
The team provides overnight support which is performed on a rostered basis (approx. 1 week, every 5 weeks).
What you will be doing:
Providing application software development services and technical support
Incident investigation, resolution and follow up activities
Analyse problems and modify logic in existing application Programs and Jobs
Code, test, debug, document, implement and maintain the software application
Maintain, test and integrate application components
Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code
Ensures system improvements are successfully implemented
Oncall Support outside office hours on a Rostered basis
What you bring:
3+ year experience with the following: COBOL, CICS and JCL
Desirable to also be skilled with Jira, REXX, Db2, CA Endevor, Tivoli Workload Scheduler, IBM Debug Toll and File Manager
Very Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong time management skills
A willingness to do overnight support on a rostered basis
Strong teamwork skills and problem-solving skills
Strong ability and willingness to learn
Be Process driven and have high attention to detail
A bonus if you have:
Experience with BASE Global or BASE2000
Experience with Credit Card Systems.
The ability to occasionally work flexible days. I.e. some weekend work
