This role will support the design, development and delivery of new invasive and non-invasive medical device products.
Essential Job Functions
Assists in supporting product realisation activities from Orthopedic and Endoscopic business units in ANZ
Produces and reviews 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings
Engages with stakeholders to obtain user needs inputs for product realisation activities
Produces design-related documentation to meet medical device requirements
Conducts feasibility studies of the design to determine ability to function as intended
Assist in the management of time and cost of development projects
Assists in preparing documentation for NPI process including supporting documents for regulatory submissions
Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical or Mechatronic)
2 years’ experience in medical devices (or related field)
Working in a highly regulated environment
Project management and working in teams
Product design & development
Process development, improvement & control
Working with multiple priorities and demands
Prior experience in product development in Orthopedics and/or Endoscopy is desirable
Technical Knowledge & Competencies
Technical engineering background
Competent project management abilities
Good communication skills – written & verbal

Diligent and task oriented
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint),
CAD Software (Nx Unigraphics, Solidworks, Solidedge, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, Catia, Creo)
Analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to interpret user feedback in relation to product development
Salary Range: $70,000 - $90, 000 depending on experience
