About the role
Optimised Maintenance is a Maintenance and Asset Management improvement consultancy. We focus on providing structured maintenance improvement which manages risk, develops efficiencies, improves maintenance effectiveness and is safe, practical and best supports the client.
We are currently recruiting for a standards Engineer to work with our maintenance specialists and reliability engineers in building LOA strategies for fixed infrastructure and product handling/ yard machines. The role is based in Adelaide and will require some travel.
Requirements of the role
The desired applicant will have proven experience in the following:
Proven experience in Standards Engineering. Specifically statutorily managed equipment including pressure vessels, electrical, fluid retaining structures, corrosive etc.
Worked with material handling equipment, in particular processing, equipment and control systems
Experience in copper processing
Have worked with, critiqued and improved maintenance templates, plans and reviewed schedules
Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting – linking process improvement with business objective. Note: cost reduction, availability or reliability improvement, safety improvement rate improvement
Application of risk based engineering approach to modification projects
Advanced knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems, and Enterprise Resource Planning software
Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, Project and Power Point
Familiarity with the use and development of CMMS, building equipment profiles and uploading strategies for operational use.
As a note, you will be working as part of a team within Optimised Maintenance – we develop our solutions using all the strengths we have available. This includes a collaborative network in a variety of industries.
Formal engineering qualifications. CPEng, RPEQ or equivalent is an advantage
5+ years of experience in an discipline engineering role. This includes design engineering, construction, audit.
General requirements to work in mining in South Australia.
A Consultant background, with client facing experience is an advantage but not a necessity.
