We are seeking experienced Project Engineers to work on the Design and Construction of a 32ML water tank in the Goldfields region of Western Australia.
This role will be supported by the Project Manager and will work closely with site personnel on site ensuring prompt project delivery and quality works. Training will be provided where required.
The successful candidate will have some experience or exposure in structural and civil works specifically working with Water Infrastructure governing bodies and ensuring compliance with client expectations, company objectives and all contractual obligations.
The project works have now commenced with activities on site anticipated to start around September. In addition to working with a great team, the successful applicant will receive ongoing project exposure allowing you to further develop your technical and project management skills. There will be an opportunity for a strong performer to progress their career and move into a Project Manager position.
Works will include:
Design and Construction of a reinforced concrete water tank including precast concrete panels, in-situ concrete works and Post Tensioning
Associated Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical and Security installations
Link Ins to existing water infrastructure
Associated civil works including drainage, surfacing and fencing
The successful applicant will ideally have:
Degree in Civil Engineering
Previous experience in a similar role
Experience on Water Corporation projects and tanks construction (desirable)
Proven Project experience working with Reinforced and/or Post Tensioned Concrete Structures
Strong communication and planning skills
Experience using Microsoft Project, AutoCAD and Jobpac are desirable.
Demonstrated experience in effective HSQE management
Willingness / ability to work in remote locations as may be required
