As an RF Trials Engineer, you will be the creative mind behind the development of world-class software in CMD&V. You will identify appropriate software and integration solutions to resolve scientific and operational issues associated with the deployment of EW measures. The role involves modelling and analysis of countermeasures systems and the threat response together with the integration of models within synthetic scene generated environments.
You will provide high quality advice to military and scientific collaborators and produce technical documentation and reports for a diverse audience which includes senior Defence decision-makers and scientists. You will be expected to provide user training sessions to familiarise new colleagues. Attendance at Australia’s test facilities, for example, Woomera Test Range, and the international test facilities of Australia’s allies and strategic partners may be required in this role.
